Can We Turn the Other Cheek?

Civic, Spiritual, and Therapeutic Responses

to Violence

Thursday, April 14, 6:15 pm

We at TACC are struggling with the violence we see in the news and in our local communities.  What can we do? How can the church, the mental health community, and the individual respond?  Local pastors, mental health professionals, as well as legislative and community activists will share their opinions and experiences.  Please join us on April 14th at St. Luke's Episcopal Church for a panel discussion on this important topic.

TACC's Meaningful Conversations is an annual series of inspiring speakers that inform our thinking on today's issues and nourish our spiritual and mental health. Please join us as we explore this challenging topic and learn how you can make a difference by mentoring, advocating and supporting- all are welcome. Your ticket includes an hors d'oeuvres reception, musical performance and panel discussion. Proceeds from the event will support TACC's mission, and each full-price ticket will enable one hour of counseling services for an in-need member of the Atlanta community or one hour of CPE training focused on homeless or formerly incarcerated individuals.
