CPE Program Details & Unit Level Descriptions

Under the supervision of TACC’s Director of CPE, ACPE Supervisor Rev. Karen Miller, the Center offers Level I/II CPE as an intensive Summer unit (11 weeks) and as two extended, 15-week units in the Fall and Spring. Admission to the program is based on the completion and evaluation of the CPE application and a possible admission interview.

To apply for CPE training, we require a non-refundable $60 application fee, a minimum of a 10-page application document and a potential interview after the application has been reviewed by an ACPE supervisor. See the Application Forms.

We begin training in January, May and September each year. The spring and fall units are 15-week extended part-time units (18.5 hours of ministry in the community and 6-8 hours of educational time). The summer unit is an intense 11-week full-time experience with 32 hours a week of ministry and 8 hours of educational time.
