Counseling

TACC provides individual, couples, and family counseling to anyone regardless of age and religious affiliation. TACC's counselors seek to provide a safe, non-judgemental environment in which one can experience and explore his/her entire range of thoughts, feelings, emotions and ideas in the interest of wholeness and healing. When needed we refer people to other appropriate resources in the community for medication, consultation or for services that better meet their needs.

Hours
Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 8 am - 5 pm
Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8 am - 8 pm

Cost
In an effort to make our counseling services accessible to everyone TACC offers a fee sliding scale ranging from $35 - $130 per hour based on a client's household income. We do not accept insurance payments at this time.

Appointments
To schedule an appointment, please call the main line at 404/876-6266, ext. 2001 Monday through Friday between 9 - 4 pm.  A staff member will complete a phone intake and answer any questions you might have about fees and services.  Within 48 hours, a counselor will contact you to set-up your first appointment. Please note, after hours calls will be returned the next business day.

PRE-MARITAL WORKSHOPS
Since 1976, TACC has offered pre-marital counseling to couples in preparation for marriage. Pre-Marital Workshops are designed to help couples look at themselves within their relationships and raise important questions related to the covenant of marriage. Workshop sessions are led by Episcopal Priest, Rev. Rebekah Hatch and are limited to 15 couples. All denominations are welcomed to participate. Upon receipt of registration, each couple is mailed a questionnaire for completion before the workshop and a booklet entitled Preparing for the Celebration and Blessing of a Marriage by The Rev. Dr. John Westerhoff.  Individual couples counseling also available upon request.

2012 Workshop Dates
All workshops are held on Saturdays from 8:30 am - 1 pm. Light breakfast and beverages served.

Cost
$125 per couple which includes a follow-up counseling session one year after workshop.
